The Broadcasting Organisation of Nigeria BON has lauded Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed for his support to the media, following the donation of an 18-seater Toyota bus to aid the organization’s operations.Receiving the vehicle at the Government House Bauchi, BON’s Executive Secretary, Dr. Yemisi Bamgbose described the donation as a demonstration of Governor Mohammed’s commitment to empowering media institutions and strengthening democratic governance through an independent and vibrant press.According to him the gesture reflects the governor’s recognition of the critical role the media plays in promoting development, transparency, and good governance stating that would reinforce the value of collaboration between government and media stakeholders.
