Vincent Maduka

He handled the deregulation of Nigerian Telecommunications and the establishment of the regulator, the Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC, in 1992.

Maduka joined the Western Nigeria Broadcasting Corporation (WNTV-WNBS) as a broadcast engineer in Ibadan, Nigeria in 1961, later appointed General Manager and Chief Executive in 1973.

In 1977, Engr. Maduka was appointed the pioneer Director-General of the Nigerian Television Authority, (NTA), Technical Adviser to the Ministry of Communications in 1983, returned to NTA after one year, and retired voluntarily in 1986 at the age of 50.
